What is Handmade Biz Club and how can it help me? 

Well my lovely, if you’re making and selling handmade products then I have lots of ways to help you!

I too have been making and selling handmade products for a quite a few years and as I’ve been doing this for  a while, I’ve gathered a lot of experience, and developed a lot of systems and tools to help my business to run smoothly and profitably. 

I learned so much from people ahead of me on my biz journey and I love being helpful so want to pay it forward and let you copy my homework so speed up your own journey to a profitable handmade business. With your own goals, time and energy in mind

I’m really mindful that often handmade business owners don’t have lots of money to spend on learning when they first start out so I like to offer free and low cost trainings with the option of a 1:1 session if you’d like some super tailored advice.

Pricing your handmade products with enough profit is the cornerstone of having a profitable business.  It's a free calculator that not only gives you a retail and wholesale price once you add in your costs.  It also tells you how much money you’re making on each platform that you’re selling on  and what happens when you alter the postage charge to your customers. 

Rent a Shelf Calculator Free

This is another free calculator that helps you to work out how many products you need to sell each month in shops that charge you rent for a space. And how much profit you are making from sales in the shop

This is a half hour workshop taken from The Handmade PROFIT Toolkit. Showing you the method that I use in my own business to ensure that you get paid every month regardless of how many sales you made.  This system works if you make 3 sales a month or 300 sales a month.  You can implement this at any stage of your business and I highly recommend that if you’re just starting, you do pay yourself every month.  It includes the tool I built to make it super easy to implement - no maths required

One to One Mentoring Session £50

Can you tell me about your expertise and approach?

Certainly - I’m the founder of Blue Stiggy where I make and sell handmade notebooks that I personalise on my vintage typewriter Dorothy.  I’ve sold thousands of Handmade notebooks and journals, across the world - every continent [well….i’m still working on Antartica]

I am at my happiest when learning something new- which is brilliant news for you, because then I'm just itching to pass on the results once I’ve tried  it in my own business! 

After stepping down as captain of the Nottingham Etsy Team in 2021, I missed the community and helping other sellers. So at the end of  2024 - I began Handmade Biz Club.

My approach is all about passing on tools and systems that I use in my own business.  I’m particularly good at taking a long range view of a business and coming up with new ways to bring in income and spread the risk so that you don’t have all your eggs in one income basket.
